Cambios en los requisitos de elegibilidad
See what happens to your benefits when you gain or lose eligibility.
If you transition to a new job, or the number of hours you’re regularly scheduled to work changes, your eligibility for certain benefits may change.
Types of employees
The number of hours you’re regularly scheduled to work each week determines which type of employee you are:
- Casual: 0–19 hours per week
- Limited: 20–29 hours per week
- Part-time: 30–39 hours per week
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
Your hospital, member organization or union status also may affect your eligibility for certain benefits. More eligibility details are available on the myBenefits page for each benefit.
